VIVA began with urgent healthcare support in 2016 and continues to connect local knowledge with donors, partners, and medical professionals.
Our story
From one urgent delivery to long-term regional work.
VIVA was established on 7 April 2016. Four days later, the new foundation delivered its first medical support. The organisation grew around a direct idea: healthcare facilities and professionals should have the equipment, medicines, materials, and instruments needed to care for people wherever they live.
That practical beginning still shapes VIVA’s work. Programmes respond to immediate need while building relationships and local capacity that can last beyond a single intervention.
